The Health Sciences Learning Center (HSLC) and Wisconsin Institutes for Medical Research (WIMR) have a series of LCD screens that display digital signage about events and strategic initiatives taking place in the school.
Digital signage in HSLC and WIMR
HSLC and WIMR house several screens that can be seen by building occupants. Members of the SMPH community can use a template to submit content for consideration to be placed on the screens.
Submission rules
- All flyers must use provided digital signage PowerPoint template and submit a PDF
- Flyers go up three weeks before event date
- SMPH-related events taking place in HSLC or elsewhere on campus can be displayed on the HSLC displays. Events posted must have broad relevance to a large portion of the SMPH community.
- Only events relevant to the research-focused departments with physician space in WIMR will be shared on the WIMR screens.
- Instructional events such as meeting, grand rounds, lectures, etc. are acceptable. Ineligible items include: retirement parties, off-campus fundraisers, vendor demos, UW Health or UW Hospital-hosted events, etc.
- The SMPH Office of Strategic Communications has the final determination on what will be accepted.
Submit an event
- Download the PowerPoint template
- Fill in the template with the appropriate information
- Export the PowerPoint slide as a PDF
- Submit the PDF to the Digital Signage Submission form
- Events will be posted in 3-4 business days
LCD screens in the Clinical Science Center (CSC)
The screens in University Hospital and UW Health clinics are managed by UW Health. LCD screen requests should be directed to Workfront at UW Health (UW Health credentials must be used to view this form).
