Academic Affairs

Academic Affairs supports the educational mission of the School of Medicine and Public Health through leadership and oversight of multiple programs including health professions program, continuing professional development, student services and academic enrichment programs, community and state outreach educational and engagement programs, admissions and recruitment programs, and multicultural and diversity initiatives that serve our students and trainees.

Academic Affairs provides leadership and administrative support for curriculum and student program development, academic planning, educational program accreditation, professional development of faculty and staff to education and training programs, and business operations of the programs and units within the department.

The Office of Academic Affairs promotes a professional inclusive atmosphere that supports exceptional educational activities that prepare health care providers, scientists and public health professionals for outstanding opportunities to serve the diverse health needs of individuals, communities and populations, and improve the health for citizens in Wisconsin and beyond.
