The facilities group at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health (SMPH) is responsible for facilities planning and administration at the school.
The group is also responsible for ongoing operational and safety procedures for the SMPH. Facilities’ staff liaise with department chairs, center directors, administrators and campus officials to coordinate these efforts for the SMPH.
The facilities group is led by Mark Wells, AIA, Assistant Dean for Facilities.
If you are having issues with lights, HVAC, damage to the facility, or any other issues that require maintenance, submit a work request ticket located on our Maintenance webpage.

Parking and Transportation
The Health Sciences Transportation Unit manages parking for health sciences employees at UW-Madison. This includes employees at SMPH, School of Nursing, School of Pharmacy, University Health Services, the State Laboratory of Hygiene and Univ Hospital
