Ryan Schryver, Public Access Compliance Lead, will introduce Hassan Hossayrami who joined Ryan at Ebling Library. They will talk about their roles and the resources to help SMPH researchers.
Lynn Haynes, Director, ORC will join us for a discussion on the attached advanced account request for CTAs. Please review the attached and send me any questions/scenarios you may want to discuss so we can prepare for a discussion.

The federal export control laws and regulations can impact many aspects of the research mission at UW-Madison, including from whom we buy items, who we collaborate with, where we can ship items, when we need to get export licenses and when to manage information for projects containing sensitive information. This training will discuss the key export control regulations, non-compliances, what contract clauses to look out for and what activities may require review from the Export Control Office.

Kurt McMillen with ATP will explain the latest updates of the Administrative Transformation Process including a possible adjustment to the PI 1% rule.
Kelly Belshaw effort administrator at RSP will talk about some of the effort related changes.

Mark Sweet and Brenda Egan will talk about the new Other Support Format and will share how UW is implementing the use of DocuSign to capture PI attestation on the form.
