Strategic Space Utilization
Our goal is to ensure SMPH space is well managed, clearly documented, and positioned to meet the evolving needs of our faculty, staff, learners and partners.
The SMPH Strategic Space Utilization Office advances the strategic, efficient and sustainable use of space across the UW School of Medicine and Public Health (SMPH). In accordance with the SMPH Space Management policy, we provide centralized leadership in space planning, policy development, and data management — serving as the primary liaison between SMPH units, UW–Madison’s Space Management Office, and UW Health.
We are committed to maintaining accurate space records, delivering meaningful data and analytics, and developing the processes and tools that help every SMPH unit manage its space with confidence.
