Clinical adjunct track faculty are community clinicians who volunteer their time to aid in the training of learners across the state of Wisconsin (see Statewide Campus). Our clinical adjuncts are very important for achieving our teaching mission. Expectations and guidelines to follow when pursuing appointment, promotion and reappointment to the Clinical Adjunct track. Appendix A Appointment Procedures (Page 6) provides a streamlined appointment process description. The supporting documents required are different for statewide and department appointments and links to forms needed are provided in the document.

Attachment D is a letter of recommendation template supporting the clinical adjunct faculty appointment. It is required when requesting a new appointment as Clinical Adjunct faculty. Clinical Adjunct faculty may be appointed by a department or the statewide campus. This version of the attachment is for new department appointments. For a department appointment, the letter must be signed by the appointing department chair (or designee).
