Digital Signage
HSLC and WIMR LCD Screens
The Health Sciences Learning Center (HSLC) and Wisconsin Institutes for Medical Research (WIMR) have a series of LCD screens that display digital signage about events and strategic initiatives taking place in the school.
Members of the SMPH community can use a template to submit content for consideration.
Submission Rules
- Required Template: Download the digital signage PowerPoint template (PPTX) and submit a PDF
- If the PDF is not rendering correctly, submit the PowerPoint file instead
- Timing: Flyers go up 3 weeks before the event date
- Relevance: SMPH-related events taking place in HSLC or elsewhere on campus can be displayed on the HSLC displays; events posted must be broadly relevant to the SMPH community
- Eligibility: Instructional events such as meetings, grand rounds, lectures, etc., are acceptable; ineligible items include retirement parties, off-campus fundraisers, vendor demos, UW Health or UW Hospital-hosted events
- WIMR screens: Only events relevant to research-focused departments with physical space in WIMR will be shared on the WIMR screens
The SMPH Office of Strategic Communications has the final determination on what is posted.
Submit an Event
- Download the PowerPoint template (PPTX)
- Fill in the template with the appropriate information
- Export the PowerPoint slide as a PDF
- If the PDF is not rendering correctly, submit the PowerPoint file instead
- Submit the PDF to the Digital Signage Submission form
- Events will be posted in 3–4 business days
Clinical Science Center LCD Screens
The screens in University Hospital and UW Health clinics are managed by UW Health. Submit LCD screen requests using Workfront at UW Health (UW Health credentials are required to view the form).
