SMPH OFAD Guidance on Funding for Sabbaticals

Clinical Health Science faculty may request a leave that resembles a sabbatical. There is no formal SMPH process to approve this type of leave. A department may work out an arrangement with a faculty member to allow for a leave that resembles a sabbatical, using available department discretionary funds to support it. There are no central or SMPH funds available for this type of leave.
