The Facilities Group at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health (SMPH) is responsible for facilities planning and administration at the school.
The group is also responsible for ongoing operational and safety procedures for the SMPH. Facilities' staff liaise with department chairs, center directors, administrators and campus officials to coordinate these efforts for the SMPH.
The Facilities Group is led by Mark Wells, AIA, Assistant Dean for Facilities. Core areas of responsibility are:
- Strategic planning
- Capital construction
- Remodeling
- Space management
- Maintenance and physical operations
- Leased space
- Parking and transportation
