Partners in Giving 2022-23 in SMPH includes Pet Costume Contest
The 50th annual Partners in Giving campaign began October 10 and ran through November 30, but donations are still accepted after that date and count toward the campaign. This year’s campaign theme was “Caring for 50 Years.” This year, the Partners in Giving chairs for the School of Medicine and Public Health organized a Pet Costume Contest.
The below information is supplied to the SMPH community by the Partners in Giving chairs for the school: Katy Oksuita, MS, Chief Administrative Officer for the BerbeeWalsh Department of Emergency Medicine, and Rachel Kulow, MBA, Chief Administrative Officer for the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine.

“Be a Partner in Giving”
The 50th annual Partners in Giving campaign ran from October 10 through November 30, 2022, but donations are still accepted after that date and count toward the campaign. This year’s campaign theme was “Caring for 50 Years.” State, UW, and UW Health employees in Dane County joined together to raise money in support of more than 500 charities making a difference in the lives of those who need it most, locally and globally.
In these times that challenge us all, Wisconsin’s tradition of giving back is as important as ever. Thank you for your continued generosity.
Pet Costume Contest — winner and honorable mentions
We are very excited to announce the winner of the SMPH Partners in Giving Pet Costume Contest: Professor Jasper! Out of 372 total votes, Professor Jasper received 24% of them. Congratulations to Professor Jasper and their submitter. To make this fun event successful for the Partners in Giving campaign, we encourage a donation.

Honorable mentions
Due to a glitch, two cute pups were left off the ballot for the Pet Costume Contest and have been named honorable mentions so everyone can get a look at their incredible costumes. Thank you to Deja and Churro for dressing up and participating!
