Campaign update from SMPH Partners in Giving chairs
The 2024 Partners in Giving campaign runs until Dec. 3. We’ve set an audacious goal of 8% participation across the school and invite you to engage with us to meet this goal! Make a pledge at giving.wi.gov.
Every gift makes an impact. Even a small recurring donation each pay period can make a difference. How much of a difference? Check out these examples:
- Just $1 per pay period to the Hunger Relief Fund of Wisconsin provides 16 boxes of healthy breakfast cereal offering sustenance and hope to those in need.
- Only $15 per pay period to Creating Health Communities (CHC) provides an Alzheimer’s care consultant for an overwhelmed caregiver during the night, offering essential support and relief to help them find moments to recharge.
- $35 per pay period to United Way provides 13 hours of in-school mental health counseling for uninsured students, helping them manage stress, improve their well-being, and thrive both in and out of the classroom.
"Together We Do More"
The 52st annual Partners in Giving campaign runs from Oct 7-Dec. 3. This year’s campaign theme is “Together We Do More.” State, UW and UW Health employees in Dane County joined together to raise money in support of more than 500 charities making a difference in the lives of those who need it most, locally and globally.
Wisconsin’s tradition of giving back is as important as ever. Thank you for your continued generosity.
Winners announced in the 2024 SMPH Pet Costume Contest
Congratulations to Mary Pierce in the Department of Medical Physics for “Daenerys and Baby Dragon” and to Alex Schwier from Ebling Library for “Another costume? This is not aMOOOsing.” Giving today is a great way to honor our furry winners, keep the contest going, and support a great cause.
