The University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health social media accounts (Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), YouTube, and LinkedIn) are dedicated to communication from and about the UW School of Medicine and Public Health. They are produced and maintained by the school’s Office of Strategic Communication. Links to content or other Internet sites are not and should not be construed as an endorsement of the organizations, entities, views or content contained therein. SMPH is not responsible for the content of those external websites.

While SMPH aims to review content posted to social media sites, it shall have the right to remove any content that is off-topic, a violation of intellectual property rights or privacy laws, commercial or promotional of organizations or programs not related to or affiliated with the school and its departments, or is otherwise illegal. Users are fully responsible for the content they contribute to any of SMPH’s social media sites.

By submitting content to any SMPH social media site, users understand and acknowledge that this information is available to the public and that the school may use this information for internal and external promotional purposes. Please note that other participants may use posted information beyond the control of the school. Users who do not wish to have the information they have made available via these sites used, published, copied or reprinted should not post on the social media sites.
