The grievance process provides a means to resolve disputes which have not been resolved through the normal process of reasoned discussion. When a faculty grievance arises, all parties will benefit from having clearly established guidelines and procedures for presentation and resolution of the grievance.
This process is available to any faculty member who believes that their rights have been violated or that they have been dealt with unfairly.
