Program faculty

The UW BIRCWH Program Faculty serve as the foundation for establishing effective interdisciplinary mentoring teams to empower scholars to develop a productive research program leading to the translation of discoveries to advance women’s health.  Program Faculty are a diverse group from varied disciplines representative of 11 UW-Madison Schools/Colleges and 21 Departments.  Program Faculty are nationally recognized leaders with expertise in interdisciplinary women’s health or sex/gender differences research programs.  UW BIRCWH Program Faculty are organized into five areas aligned with the NIH 2019-2023 Trans-NIH Strategic Plan for Women’s Health Research.
