The transition to Workday is impacting multiple domains and groups in the school, including human resources and payroll, fiscal affairs, research administration, and the reporting platforms many use in their work. Each area has different timelines and deadlines. This page serves as a repository for the resources available to navigate this transition, either providing details or linking to another resource.

- Proposals need to be routed to the Dean’s office by Friday, June 20 to allow us time to review and submit to RSP.
- RSP will be able to process proposals through Friday, June 27.
This is the last day RSP will be acting on proposals.
RPPRs that require SMPH review (and are -Con records) apply to the June 20 due date.
Please review intended submissions with your researchers well in advance to ensure timely submission for due dates in June- July.
*Note that Cayuse will be available for federal submissions will RAMP is down.
- Agreements need to be routed to the Dean’s office by Friday, June 20 to allow us time to review.
- RSP will be able to process agreements through Friday, June 27.
- Award Set up, Friday, May 16 is the last day for departments to complete the project set-up information and ask for an award in advance and award set-up or modification in RAMP. We have not received clarification on Award Mod Requests (NCE, PI change, NOA rec’d by Dept), but as they feed into Award Mods, these should be done around the same time.
- The award set up team will continue to set up through Thursday, June 12. RSP will also process modifications through 6/12/25.
- June 12 is the last day that RSP will be doing modifications and setups. Everything in progress must be completed. “Draft”, “Unit Review and Setup” or Mods in other status will not be converted and will be auto deleted.
RSP is in the final stages of determining what the routing process will be during the RAMP shutdown times. We will send to all once we receive.
Reminder- RSP is accelerating setup of awards starting Monday, April 7. See attached email with more details.

How to get help
Hypercare…
- Set up an email
- Can we use the IP of the Workday name itself? @wisc.workday?
- Use email to parse into a ticket
- Setup agents – Darlene, Kristen, Christy, who else?
- Set up filterability for each ticket
- Build out logic for if something stays internally at SMPH, or gets sent to ATP triage.
