Compliance in the School of Medicine and Public Health

Each fall marks a time when members of the SMPH community must complete certain trainings and take specific actions to ensure they are in compliance with some requirements set forth by the School of Medicine and Public Health and the University of Wisconsin–Madison.

Compliance measures are not simply boxes to check. These important initiatives ensure that each and every member of the SMPH community is aware of and understands the importance of these topics, which builds community and mitigates risk for individuals, the school, and the university. They protect you and your community. Many compliance processes are also necessary steps to be eligible for certain initiatives, such as pay adjustments through UW–Madison central compensation programs and the pay plan approved by the state legislature.
