Construction advisory at University Hospital beginning the week of July 15

During July, the area off of University Bay Drive between the Medical Foundation Centennial building and University Hospital will be adjusted as we prepare to begin construction on the new D2 tower addition at University Hospital. Key points:

  • Access to this entry will be maintained at all times.
  • Modify existing access roads that lead to the 3rd floor staff entry (located near sky bridge to the UWMF Centennial Building).
  • Reroute pedestrian sidewalks.
  • On Monday, July 15, the outside seating area directly adjacent to the sky bridge will be closed and site fence installed for the upcoming construction.

How to lessen impact:

  • Take alternate routes to avoid construction area.
  • Adjust travel/commute time as needed.
