Overview
On January 9, 2024, at 5am, the UW Health IS Security Team will improve the login experience for https://citrix.uwhealth.org by implementing a new login page. You must use your UW Health partner account username or UW Health email address as the username to sign in. You use this username to sign into U-Learn for UW Health Compliance Training or to change your UW Health account password at password.uwhealth.org.

Note: At the time of implementing the new login page, any person connected to https://citrix.uwhealth.org via a web browser to access a UW Health Citrix-hosted resources (e.g., using a web browser to connect to citrix.uwhealth.org to access Health Link) will be disconnected. You may not be able to reconnect for up to 1 minute.

What will I need to do differently?
If you use a web browser to connect to https://citrix.uwhealth.org, the new login page requires you to use one of the following as your username when signing in:
- Partner account username (Don’t know your partner account username? Visit this U-Connect article and read the FAQ item “What is a partner account?”
- UW Health email address
Changing User Account – depending on your web browser configuration, you may receive a prompt in the web browser to change credentials before connecting to the new login page. This is normal; the system lets you know it detects user credentials cached in your web browser. Follow the instructions on the screen to continue the login process by signing in with your UW Health account.

Why is UW Health making this change?
Improve the login experience for SMPH and others by connecting to https://citrix.uwhealth.org to access UW Health resources. Some improvements include better messaging for login challenges, enhanced MFA authentication experience, and seamless SSO (i.e., ‘log in once, access many UW Health applications’).
Will there be downtime or an interruption to the UW Health Citrix environment during the implementation of this change?
If you are connected to https://citrix.uwhealth.org to access Health Link or other UW Health resources hosted in the UWH Citrix environment, you will be disconnected. You may not be able to reconnect for up to 1 minute.
What is a UW Health partner account? What is my partner account username?
UW Health partner accounts are for people who need access to UW Health resources (e.g., UW Health applications like Health Link) and do not have a UW Health email inbox.
