More detailed results have been released from the SMPH Community Pulse survey. To maximize transparency, the full results straight from SPSS, a statistical software, are provided. This is meant to provide a full preview in advance of more information, such as an executive summary, being shared to help with further interpretation of the results.
As a reminder, this survey was administered to all SMPH staff (non-faculty) in the school in January. The survey garnered 1,777 responses, for a 43.5% response rate. The results will help chart future workplace climate improvement and diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts in the school. This second installment is part of an ongoing series that shares results and action stems from the survey.
More contextual and interpretive information, as well as short- and long-term action plans based on the results of this survey and input from the January 28 Building Community strategic retreat, will continue to be released.
The survey was conducted by the UW Survey Center, which provided a sample description and response rate report. This provides detailed information about how this survey was managed and administered.
