Dear SMPH students, staff, and faculty,
I am writing to ask that each of you complete our mandatory school-wide Professional Conduct training requirement. This is an important effort that reflects our deep ongoing commitment to building community in an environment that optimizes learning, supports diversity and inclusion, and maintains a culture of respect for everyone.
Click this link or copy and paste it into your browser to access the module: go.wisc.edu/professionalconductmodule
Our goal is to have 100% of SMPH students, staff, and faculty complete this simple yet powerful exercise by Monday, Nov. 15. It will take less than 10 minutes to complete.
This exercise will affirm our school’s commitment to our Shared Guidelines for Professional Conduct, which were devised as part of Building Community and help us embody our values of integrity, accountability, compassion, excellence, and diversity, equity, and inclusivity.
Please be aware that additional school and campus resources exist for reporting mistreatment and misconduct. More information can be found at: go.wisc.edu/reportingconcerns.
Direct technical questions about the training module to learningenvironment@med.wisc.edu.
I thank you in advance for your personal participation and helping to encourage others to as well.
Sincerely,
Elizabeth M. Petty, MD
