An important message from SMPH HR concerning pay plans

We are pleased to share that campus plans to move forward with a 2% pay plan for Faculty, Academic Staff, University Staff, Limited Appointees, and Research Interns. The increase will be effective on January 1, 2021 for employees paid monthly and January 3, 2021 for employees paid biweekly. To be eligible to receive the pay increases, individuals must have been employed in their current positions on November 22, 2020 (for employees paid hourly) or December 1, 2020 (for employees paid monthly). Employees must also have completed UW–Madison’s preventing sexual harassment and sexual violence training as of December 1, 2020 and must have met performance expectations as identified in their last performance evaluation. Supervisors must be up to date on all performance evaluations for the employees they supervise. Rehired Annuitants who are collecting a retirement annuity will not be eligible for the pay plan. For dual-employed clinical faculty, the UW base salary plus UWMF clinical salary will remained unchanged as the UWMF salary component will be reduced by the same amount of the UW base increase.
