A message to the UW-Madison Health Sciences campus community: Limit traffic to University Hospital and American Family Children’s Hospital for essential work-related activities only
As the UW-Madison welcomes faculty, students and staff back to campus this fall, we need to send a reminder that during the time of COVID-19, we need to restrict the number of staff and visitors in the University Hospital and American Family Children’s Hospital as a safeguard and to help prevent the spread of disease.
- Limit visits to the hospitals for essential work-related activities only.
- All non-UW Health employees who are visiting the hospitals for work-related activities will need to present their ID badges and answer health screening questions prior to entering the buildings.
- Individuals should not enter the hospitals to make vending or Four Lakes Cafeteria purchases.
These extra precautions and restrictions are inconvenient, especially to UW-Madison faculty and employees who work on or near the UW Health Sciences campus. We appreciate everyone’s support and cooperation.
