This table lists important parking dates for health sciences employees at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Key Dates
- Week of May 7: Permit renewal notifications sent
- June 4: Parking application final email sent
- June 15: Last day to apply for parking online
- July 9: The "Big Spin" - parking assignments will be determined
- July 16-20: Parking assignment notifications sent
- August 9: Deadline to accept parking assignment
- August 10: Second assignment offer sent to applicants without parking
- August 13- September 7: Bus pass distribution
- August 23: Deadline to accept parking assignment from second spin
- August 24: Third assignment offer sent to applicants without parking
- September 6: Deadline to accept parking assignments from third spin

| May 4 | Final payroll file - cut over to new parking year - All trans and UTCs will be locked out of PAS for the day |
| Week of May 7 | Permit renewal notifications - email reminder or hard copy letter with renewal instructions for all current customers; annual and student |
| June | UDDS verification - UTCs update their UDDS numbers for the 2012-2013 parking year |
| June 4 | Parking application final email (followup email to customers who have not responded to renewal notice) |
| June 15 | Department and vendor renewal deadline - last date for department, reserved and vendor permit applications and renewals. Transportation begins fulfillment of department permits. (Review online services.) |
| June 15 | Application deadline - last date to apply for parking online (includes baselot, flex, park and ride and student parking applications). |
| June 22 | Excel file of unit priority numbers - deadline date for UTCs to submit a file with a complete list of priority numbers to be downloaded to PAS |
| June 29 | Alternate request approval by UTCs - all alternate requests must be entered into web page application form and approved by UTC |
| June 29 | UTC deadline - last date for UCs to enter applications, wait list changes and priority numbers on web page |
| July 9 | "Big Spin" - parking assignments will be run |
| July 9 | Assignment information available on PAS - parking assignment information will be displayed to UTCs on the Web |
| July 16-20 | Annual assignment notification sent to customers - all applicants including students notified via email or letter |
| July 16-20 | No assignment - letter or email will be sent to all applicants who did not receive a parking assignment |
| July 30 | Email reminders (remind applicants to claim their assignment – no letters will be sent by U.S. mail.) |
| August 1 | Moped permit - online link to apply for moped permits will be activated |
| August 6 | Final email reminders (remind applicants to claim their assignment - no letters will be sent by U.S. mail) |
| August 8 | Deadline for sabbatical requests - last date to submit approved sabbatical letters |
| Week of August 6 | Department permit distribution - contact customers to pick up department limited, universal and reserved permits |
| August 9 | Deadline to accept parking assignment - last date to accept parking |
| August 10 | Second assignment offer - wait list letters sent to applicants without parking |
