Commuting Options
University of Wisconsin-Madison health sciences employees are encouraged to use alternate forms of transportation.
Bus Transit
All UW-Madison and UW Hospital and Clinics employees are eligible for free bus passes. UW-Madison can find information about obtaining a bus pass through UW Transportation Services. UW Hospital and Clinics employees can find information about obtaining a bus pass through the U-Connect intranet.
CSC/HSLC to WID/MIR Shuttle
Shuttle service is available Monday-Friday between the Clnical Science Center (CSC)/Health Sciences Learning Center (HSLC) and Wisconsin Institutes for Discovery/Morgridge Institute for Research (WID/MIR).
Shuttle service begins at 8:15am, departing from the CSC/HSLC. The final shuttle leaves from WID/MIR at about 4:05 pm and arrives at the CSC/HSLC at about 4:15pm.
The shuttle is not permitted to make any stops other than at the HSLC and WID/MIR. Pickup and dropoff points are:
- CSC/HSLC: Lot 95, north of the HSLC entrance
- WID/MIR: On Orchard Street between University and Campus Drive
